VOLUNTEER INFORMATION AND TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read the Volunteer Terms of Service carefully before filling out the application. You must agree to ALL terms of service before proceeding to registration.

ELIGIBILITY

To effectively carry out the conference, we need a faithful community of warm, servant-hearted volunteers who are willing to use their diverse skills to serve in the various roles available. If you are currently residing in Singapore and are 18 years old and above and are willing to serve in the ways as outlined below, you are eligible!

Date of involvement is from July 23 – 25, 2015
Choices of roles and responsibilities include:
1) Intercessors
2) Administrative Support
3) Audio-Visual Support
4) Logistics Support
5) Ushering

You may choose more than one role, based on your interest and skill sets.

By choosing one or more of these options, you are indicating your availability to be scheduled on the day(s) that you indicate. On the basis of your choice, the Person in-charge will contact you to ascertain your suitability and specific volunteer assignment. However, due to certain conference needs, volunteers may/may not be assigned to the role(s) they have indicated interest in.

CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE

The attendance of all volunteers is crucial. Failure to show up for duty will highly disrupt the operation of the entire conference. In the event if a volunteer is unable to turn up, prior notice has to be given to the Person In-Charge at least 4 hours before the time of duty.

VOLUNTEER BENEFITS

Ushers and AV Crew will be given an ELC 2015 T-shirt. Travel, lodging, meals, parking, and other personal expenses are at the volunteers’ expense.

CONFERENCE ORIENTATION

Conference Program:
Day 1 – July 23: Plenary Sessions (8.30 AM – 5.45 PM)

Day 2 – July 24: Intensive Workshops
MORNING (8.30 AM – 12.00 PM)
AFTERNOON (1.30 PM – 5.00 PM)

Day 3 – July 25: Leadership Dialogues & Plenary Sessions (8.30 AM – 5.30 PM)

Eagles Leadership Conference Volunteers will have a mandatory orientation* meeting on July 16, 2015, at 7.30 PM at Suntec Convention Centre. A complete orientation tour of the convention center and details about your volunteer assignment will be explained. Refreshments will be provided during the meeting.

*Note: Should there be any changes to orientation meeting, we will notify the volunteers via email in advance.

CANCELLATION

If an unforeseen circumstance arises and you need to cancel your volunteer commitment, please contact us no later than June 3, 2015. This will ensure adequate time for us to find a replacement and also helps us from turning away potential volunteers.

Any changes to the time, date or venue of the mandatory orientation meeting will be notified. Volunteers may/may not be able to participate partially/fully in all Plenary Sessions, Workshops or Leadership Dialogues.
