Lim Siong Guan

Group President, Government Investment Corporation

Mr Lim Siong Guan has been the Group President of GIC Private Limited since September 2007. He was Chairman of the Singapore Economic Development Board from October 2006 to June 2009, and was Head of the Singapore Civil Service from September 1999 to May 2005. He has been Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance. His leadership in transforming different government ministries is legendary.
